Thirty percent of new hires quit within the first 90 days. Here’s how Bravely helps support new employees.

According to a survey from recruiting platform Jobvite, 30% of new employees leave their jobs within the first 90 days of getting hired. Why? Forty-three percent say that their role doesn’t meet the expectations that had been set for them, while 32% blame company culture and 34% report that an incident drove them away. The result, of course, impacts the bottom line: it costs companies almost twice an employee’s salary to replace them.

We work with employees to help them determine what it means to succeed at their company, on their team, and in their role — and what they can do to get there. Oftentimes this involves teaching people how to translate their organization’s objectives and key results (OKRs) into tangible activities.

New hires need to both understand what kinds of expectations have been set for them, and feel comfortable communicating the things that they expect from others. We help employees gain clarity around their role and responsibilities (it’s all about being on the same page as your manager and teammates), and set boundaries that set them up for success in the short term and long term.
